Lofi Gaming Museum: Consoles

In 1992 I received a Sega Megadrive for Christmas, after agonising for weeks as to whether a cheap console but expensive games was better than cheap games but expensive computer (i.e. the Commodore Amiga).

Eventually it boiled down to Sonic vs Lemmings really.

With promises that Lemmings may eventually make it to the Megadrive (and it did), but Sonic being a Sega machine exclusive, it became fairly obvious which machine I was going to get.

Since then, all manner of consoles have been purchased, though none were quite as big a leap as buying this little black box!
